Numark Party Mix Review – Cheap and Compact DJ Controller
The Numark Party Mix, an affordable controller that mainly targets beginners, yet it’s also perfect for those that want something really compact and cheap. Despite its size (only 325 mm wide) it has all the controls and parameters normally associated with more expensive controllers whilst not compromising on versatility.
Numark Party Mix Review – Introduction
The Party Mix from Numark is a feature-packed, portable DJ controller well suited for mobile DJs looking for a small form factor and professional features.
What you get with the Numark Party Mix is a fully compliant 2-channel DJ controller with a built-in soundcard. As far as basic DJ setup goes the only feature missing is a Mic input and channel. However this is a more than acceptable omission considering most people interested in the Numark Party Mix will mainly want to learn to mix.
Numark Party Mix Review – Features
The Party Mix has a pretty simple layout with a dual deck setup. Each deck has a jog wheel, gain control, a 2-band EQ, pitch slider and four color-coded pads. I would have loved this controller if the EQ was 3-band, but you can’t always get what you want I guess.
As you toggle through the pad modes, you will find an autoloop function that creates loops based on 8, 4, 2, and 1 bar phrases. Sampler mode provides access to pre-loaded samples and drum loops. Cue mode allows the pads to recall four cue points set within the song. Considering the size of this controller this feature turns out being very useful when you’re performing.
The dual scratch platters and slider controls give you optimal control over your mixing, letting you drop the track when and where you want it in relation to your mix. There’s also the ‘Sync’ function that helps beginners, as it gives you the ability to mix songs easily and learn how to beat-match. This is another reason why I think this controller aims to the DJs that are just starting out.
The master section offers a dedicated browser knob with deck 1 and 2 load buttons, a master gain knob, a cue mix knob, a cue gain knob, and a crossfader. The Numark Party Mix is powered by the USB cable. It includes a stereo RCA main output and an 1/8″ mini-jack headphone output for the cue system.
Numark Party Mix Review – The lights
Not content with building disco lighting into its speakers, Numark has now added lighting to a DJ controller. The three LED light-arrays sync to your mix flashing from the back of the Party Mix, illuminating your performance. The lights are completely programmable and you can turn them off if you want.
I like the idea of having some kind of visual effect built in a controller. I also understand those who prefer sticking to music only. It kinda depends from the situation in which you’re performing. Personally, I probably wouldn’t use these light during a serious gig, but if I’m home playing tunes by myself or with some friends, why not?
Numark Party Mix Review – Software
Included with the Numark PartyMix is a free copy of the Virtual DJ LE Software. This software lets you select, import and arrange your music library with a few mouse clicks. You can import your iTunes library and play the songs that you have in there. Importing and building your music library as a DJ can be tedious and time-consuming. Virtual DJ LE Software combats this with its seamless user interface and convenient importing tools.

How Cellular/Wireless Game Cameras Work?
Cellular and wireless trail cameras are a combination of a traditional MOULTRIE A-20I MINI GAME CAMERA and a basic cellphone. The two devices are housed in one unit that usually comes in a weatherproof case. They share the same power supply, which are usually lithium batteries.
To use a MOULTRIE A-20I MINI GAME CAMERA you need to have an activated SIM card and a corresponding cellphone plan that will provide transmission of photos. Once you activate the card, the camera can start transmitting images. While the images stored on the SD card are of higher resolution, the images that are sent to your email or phone are compressed and smaller. On most cellular and wireless cameras the user can setup as many as 4 recipients on both phone and email.
GSM Network
Almost all of cellular cameras work with a GSM network. If you are in the U.S., then you will have to obtain cell service through either AT&T or T-Mobile carrier. However, after activating you can use your own cellular carrier and have the camera transmit images to any cellphone or network.
2G or 3G Coverage
Previously most of the cameras were supporting 2G service. However, since 2014 many wireless trail camera manufacturers have switched to 3G coverage.
Warranty
Another aspect to consider when choosing a MOULTRIE A-20I MINI GAME CAMERA is the warranty that comes with the product. Most of the warranties will not cover cell coverage termination or poor cell reception.
Difference Between Wireless and Cellular Trail Cameras
How Does a Wireless Game Camera Work
Wireless trail camera design includes a built-in transmitter, which then uses a wireless network to send images to the recipient’s phone or email. The benefit of these cameras is that they are extremely user friendly and are very easy to install. Compared to traditional cameras there’re fewer attachments and no USB cords. You just choose a wireless network and connect to your camera.
The only drawback to wireless trail cameras is that when used in the outdoors, the outdoor environment can hamper the wireless signal. Also, you have to be inside the Wi-Fi range in order to receive the images.
How Does a Cellular Game Camera Work
Cellular trail cameras also use GSM networks to transmit the recorded images. The recipient can also get images on either phone or email, or both of them at once. You will need a SIM card and data package to transmit the images.
These cameras are usually quite compact and are suitable for use in both indoors and outdoors. Similar to wireless game cameras, the installation is simple with no wires required.

5 Ways Businesses Can Reduce Cost with SEO
SEO or search engine optimization is the most popular strategy that all digital marketers are applying today. Entrepreneurs and webmasters spend a fair amount of money to optimize their websites for SERP.
This is because many visitors on the internet still use the search engine to look for products and services. Consequently, businesses want to take advantage of this fact by doing everything to divert such visitors to their websites. However, it is easier said than done.
Creating a website and expecting it to appear in the search results don’t work how you would expect work. In fact, even those who are able to optimize their websites still worry about the end result. This shows us that SEO is an important strategy that needs to be done correctly to ensure the best results.

5 Ways to Become More Environmentally Friendly Business
Reputation is everything when you run a business. If you have a bad one, it will lead to a whole host of negative issues. However, a good reputation can help drive your business forwards and help you gain more customers.
As such, building a good reputation is key, and there are many ways to do this. One of the best ways is to make your business more environmentally friendly. Doing this improves public perception of your company and can also lead to additional benefits. So, here are five easy ways you can become a more environmentally friendly business:
Switch to LED Lighting
One easy way you can be more environmentally friendly is to tone down your energy bill. A business will use up so much energy every day – usually via their lighting. You’ll constantly have lights on inside and let’s not forget any exterior signs you have lit up too. With standard lighting, you can accrue a huge energy bill which is bad for the environment. The more energy you use, the more fossil fuels get burnt powering your business. The easy idea is to switch to LED lighting instead of the lighting you’re using now. LED lights are far more eco-friendly and energy efficient. There are various savings calculators available online to determine how much you could save. You can use them inside and can even get your hands on LED signage too. LED lights can last up to 25 times longer and use 75% less energy than standard lighting. Making this switch is such a simple way to make your company more environmentally friendly. In fact, converting to LED in your business can be as easy as retrofitting existing light fixtures with LED. In simple terms, you keep your existing light fixture shell and replace the bulb rather than replacing the entire fixture.
Turn Off Your Equipment
Another way you can become a greener business is by turning off your equipment when it’s not being used. Again, this is a fantastic way to reduce energy consumption in your company. No doubt there will be loads of appliances and equipment that are turned on throughout the day. Offices are serial offenders when it comes to leaving equipment on when it’s not in use. If you switch things off when they don’t need to be on you can reduce energy consumption by around 25%. A huge mistake businesses make is leaving the equipment on overnight, this can add an extra 50% onto your energy bill. Turn everything off when you leave the office at the end of the day, it’s so easy and so effective.

How to Secure and Protect Your Business from the Inside Threat
Burglar alarms and digital security are all well and good for protecting your business from outside strangers. But what about the people inside your business, the ones that already have access to the inner workings? Whilst it would be paranoid to distrust every client and employee you work with, having some security methods in place to protect the odd scam artist or mole is important. Here are just a few measures worth considering in order to protect your business all the way to its core.
Limit sensitive data to specific trusted employees
Long-time employees who have proven their loyalty can often be trusted with all elements of your business. However, you shouldn’t go handing out passwords to financial details and codes to safes to new employees. Let your employees prove they can be trusted by slowly giving them more responsibility. If they exploit that power, then you know that they cannot be trusted with sensitive information.
